Time is another camouflage in the Matrix. First, clocks were created to
count seconds, minutes, and hours. Then, rhythms were devised to live
by. This still works wonderfully today.
The problem is that time itself doesn't exist; it's a mental construct. In
reality, you are a creative being who moves through different timelines
every minute. Each timeline contains a specific sequence of experiences
that you then experience. Each sequence of experiences exists endlessly
within itself as a timeline. If you were to remain in a particular timeline —
something no one actually does — you would be able to perceive its
endless progression; you could remain in it forever, yes, for all eternity.
Now, you are moving through multiple strands of timelines. You don't notice it
(remember the ego, the disguise of your true self). And as you move through
the timelines, you experience one sequence of experiences after another. You
don't have to order them chronologically, but you do anyway.
Imagine: You have to get a driver's license in order to buy a car and then be
allowed to drive it. That's the normal order of sequences.
In reality, you can also experience this series of events in reverse order. It's
possible. You first drive a car with a driver's license, and then you experience
starting the process of getting a driver's license.
This sounds very absurd to you because it contradicts the camouflage of time.
For this reason, movements are organized by timelines according to the clock.
You've been convinced that time exists and that morning follows night. But all
of this is constructed, a construct of your mind.
If you're an astronaut sitting in your spaceship looking down at Earth, you'll
see people eating breakfast and dinner at the same time. You'll see people
tanning in the sun and, at the same time, people with umbrellas.
You know that it's a matter of place and time that things work this way. But
as an astronaut, you would be able to choose where you land and what you
participate in. Would you rather have breakfast now, or dinner?
Do you understand how time works? Time is a matter of perspective, the
perspective you take. If you change your perspective, you'll also realize that
all temporal sequences, all sequences of experience, happen simultaneously.
The only question is where you are right now—that is, which timeline you're in.
Of course, the term "timeline" is a bit misleading because it contains the word
"time." I use it because most people do. In reality, they are alternative worlds
that are very, very similar, some with only very minor variations. Some alternative
worlds are so slightly different that you'll never notice the transition from one to
another. Yet this happens every day, every minute.
And if there is ever a major shift into another reality, the ego, or rather your mind,
will certainly find an explanation for it, just not one that corresponds to the truth.
If your partner, who has loved you unconditionally for many years, suddenly wants
to leave you, it's because you've shifted into another reality. You've shifted into
the reality where your partner doesn't love you. It was you!
But your mind will now begin to justify this, because that's its job as a camouflage.
It will tell you that they've simply fallen in love with someone else, or you'll think
that you've gotten too old or aren't attractive enough anymore. It will offer a
hundred reasons, and you'll pick one. But every reason will be false.
If you don't understand how reality shifting works, you'll never meaningfully
expand your consciousness, but will always remain someone who is just
guessing.
