Determinism or Free Will?

25 January 2026

You've heard about this before: Some believe everything in our world

is deterministic, while others believe we have free will. Which is true?

Is light made of waves or particles? Same question.

I told you about all the many realities and clusters of realities that exist.

It's true, our reality is deterministic, just like all the other alternative realities.

That's why alternative realities exist—so you have a choice. That is, every

reality you enter with your ego-consciousness is deterministic, but free will

arises from choosing from millions of similar realities. This choice takes place

in superposition.

Where is superposition? You can find it, for example, in your "dreams." You

enter the world of dreams and can play through many realities until you can

decide which reality you want to experience. Then you enter that reality and

live it. It has been selected from superposition. The vast array of realities

available to you is the foundation of free will.

Determinism is only possible outside of superposition. When you enter a reality,

it is determined, that is, set (or has been set) by you.

It's actually very simple once you understand it.

When you are in a chosen reality, you are merely the spectator. It's like a movie

theater with hundreds of screenings and films showing simultaneously. Once

you've chosen a film, you can enter the corresponding theater and watch it. This

helps you understand why determinism and free will find common ground. Both

are true. Just as light can be both a wave and a particle at the same time.

I wanted to share this with you so that next time you'll know what's true. It's

not just one or the other in this case. But there are things where you can only

choose one to progress on your path to knowledge, but more on that another

time.
