The Dreaming Self - Dream Worlds Are Realities

10 January 2026

You dream every night. You probably already know that. The point is,

you don't remember. When your body falls asleep at night,

your consciousness moves into superposition. Once there, all realities

are open to you, which you can then enter. As soon as you have chosen one,

you will leave superposition again and then enter that reality.

From your perspective, the dream begins at this point, but the

dream itself has no end or beginning; it is like an endless

dream that runs and runs. A single world among thousands.

With your amnesia, because you have forgotten that you are actually lying

in bed and asleep, you now walk through another world that resembles your

usual everyday world, but is not. You have friends, partners, and environments

there that may be different. Because you still think you are you, as you know

and see yourself, your consciousness is connected to an alternative self of your

overall self, and you view this world through its eyes. So you're carrying your

self-image from your everyday life with you.

This is the network of worlds.

All worlds are interconnected. And you move through these worlds every single night.

As soon as you have an experience in this other reality, you interpret it from the

perspective of your usual self from your everyday world. This misunderstanding

gave rise to dream interpretation.

In reality, if you dream that you are flying, then you actually flew. If you dream that you

drove a car, even though you don't own a car or even have a driver's license, then

you actually drove a car nonetheless.

To view the dream as a processing of everyday life or to try to interpret it symbolically

is nonsense. You were in another world with your consciousness. You are simply

downplaying this other world and considering it a figment of your imagination, but

only because your memory the next morning is faint, dark, and confusing. This is not

due to the non-existence of this other reality, but rather to your inadequate ability

to remember it properly, given your amnesia and lack of training. This other world

is equal and just as valid. It is just as real as your everyday life.

You can't say you can't swim because of your swimming trunks. Other people might

believe this justification, but it is invalid. The lack of recollection that the visit to the

other world was just as clear and vivid as your everyday life is your fault. And yes,

the other world doesn't care how well or poorly you can remember.

The problem is the amnesia that automatically occurs during a shift in reality.

Even now, in this present moment, you are dreaming. And right now, you are lying in

bed and dreaming that you are reading my article on my blog. Everyday life is one

of the many dream realities you visit at night.
